Push Start is the association of professionals and future professionals in the video game industry in Occitania.
As a business cluster, our goal is to bring together all the players in the industry in the region: studios, publishers, distributors, independents, associations, training organizations, research laboratories, students, sympathizers, partners, etc.
Our mission is to support the development, promotion, and valorization of the video game industry, and to foster the sharing of knowledge and connections among the local stakeholders.
We offer our members direct support through our actions and channels: industry networking, event organization, information dissemination, partner offers, public awareness, showcasing of local productions, and networking, among others.
We also co-manage an incubation program dedicated to young video game studios in Occitania, the Montpellier Game Lab. This program is carried out in partnership with the Montpellier BIC, a globally recognized incubator for innovative companies.
Our ongoing collaboration with institutional partners allows us to advocate for the interests of businesses and industry professionals at both regional and national levels. We also rely on strong relationships with our associative partners throughout France: other regional clusters, industry associations located locally in Occitania cities, the National Video Game Union, Women in Games, etc.
